This role focuses on providing speech and language support for a PreK-Kindergarten caseload, utilizing mostly push-in services to promote inclusive learning. Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) is required.
- Current Indiana state licensure or eligibility.
- Experience with early childhood and PreK-Kindergarten populations is preferred.
- Strong skills in collaboration, communication, and organization.
- Familiarity with push-in service models in school environments.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech-language therapy using primarily push-in services within PreK and Kindergarten classrooms.
- Assess, diagnose, and develop individualized treatment plans for students with speech, language, and communication needs.
- Work closely with classroom teachers and staff to integrate language support into daily routines and curriculum activities.
- Monitor student progress and adjust interventions as needed to achieve IEP goals.
- Document services provided and maintain accurate records in compliance with school and state requirements.
- Engage families by providing updates, resources, and strategies for supporting language development at home.
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the multidisciplinary team.
