Virtual Speech Language Pathologist (School Based)

Location: Remote (U.S.-based required) School located in Michigan
Position Type: Contract (1099)
Schedule: Full Time preferred (30-40 Hours/Week)
Compensation: $43-$55/Hour, paid weekly
About the Role
We are seeking a qualified and motivated Virtual Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide high-quality teletherapy services to students in an educational environment. This is a fully remote, independent contractor (1099) position offering flexibility and autonomy while supporting student success in communication and learning.
Responsibilities
- Conduct virtual speech and language assessments and evaluations for students
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Program (IEP) goals and treatment plans
- Provide engaging teletherapy sessions aligned with educational standards
- Maintain accurate and compliant documentation in accordance with school and state guidelines
- Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and families
- Monitor student progress and participate in virtual IEP meetings as needed
Qualifications
- Michigan SLP License (Must be license in state of residence if outside of Michigan)
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
- Experience working in school-based settings strongly preferred
- Familiarity with IEP processes and educational compliance requirements
- Reliable internet connection and appropriate technology for virtual service delivery
