A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist opportunity is available for a contract position in Vestal, NY, serving an elementary school setting. This role offers a dedicated therapy space on-site and focuses on a caseload of 15-25 students.
Key responsibilities include:
- Providing teletherapy and in-person speech-language services to pediatric students
- Addressing communication disorders in accordance with school protocols
- Collaborating with educators to support student progress
- Managing caseload documentation and maintaining compliance with relevant standards
- Participating in professional development and supervision as required for Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates
Desired qualifications:
- Certification of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
- Experience in pediatric speech therapy within school settings
- Proven ability to deliver both teletherapy and in-person services
- Eligibility to serve as a Clinical Fellow (CF) for those requiring supervision
- Strong organizational and communication skills
Work schedule is Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM to 3:40 PM, starting ASAP through June 30th. This role provides the opportunity to implement effective therapy strategies within a supportive educational environment.
