Teletherapy Speech Language Pathologist in NY
A contract opportunity is available for a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide telespeech services within an educational setting in Spring Valley, NY. This role focuses on delivering remote speech therapy to students, supporting their communication and language development through virtual platforms.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments via telespeech platforms.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to students’ needs.
- Provide ongoing speech therapy sessions remotely, ensuring student engagement and progress.
- Collaborate with educators and caregivers to support communication goals and accommodations.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of therapy sessions and student progress.
- Adhere to professional standards and privacy regulations in a remote therapy environment.
Desired Qualifications and Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Valid state licensure and certifications required to practice as an SLP.
- Experience delivering telespeech services in school settings preferred.
- Strong knowledge of speech and language disorders affecting school-aged children.
- Proficiency with teletherapy technologies and virtual communication platforms.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills tailored to remote interactions.
Location: Spring Valley, NY (Remote telespeech services with occasional onsite requirements as needed).
