This opportunity involves providing speech-language pathology services within a K-8 charter school setting, offering both virtual and onsite options. There are three openings available: two full-time positions and one part-time position, requiring availability two days per week. Work hours align with typical school schedules, from 8:00 AM to 3:10 PM.
Responsibilities include:
- Delivering comprehensive speech-language pathology services to students in a charter school environment
- Conducting assessments, developing individualized treatment plans, and implementing therapy sessions either virtually or on-site
- Collaborating with educators and other support staff to support student progress and communication development
- Maintaining accurate records of student progress and compliance with relevant policies and regulations
Qualifications and desired experience:
- Valid certification and licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)
- Experience working with school-aged children, particularly in elementary through middle school grades
- Ability to provide teletherapy services effectively using current technology platforms
- Strong communication skills and adaptability in both virtual and face-to-face settings
