An opportunity is available for a Speech-Language Pathologist specializing in teletherapy to support K-12 students in Oakland, CA. Key responsibilities include:
- Providing speech-language therapy services to a diverse K-12 caseload via teletherapy
- Collaborating with Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPAs) to support treatment plans
- Conducting assessments, developing individualized treatment goals, and implementing therapy sessions in accordance with best practices and state guidelines
- Maintaining accurate documentation and progress notes for all clients served
- Participating in virtual meetings and professional development as needed
Desired qualifications and experience:
- Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology
- Experience providing school-based speech therapy services, including telespeech or teletherapy
- Ability to effectively manage a caseload of K-12 students with diverse communication needs
- Strong communication and organizational skills to coordinate with school staff, families, and support personnel
- Familiarity with using technology and platforms for teletherapy service delivery
Contract details:
- Location: Oakland, CA (remote teletherapy services)
- Duration: Start ASAP through June 4th
- Hours: 5-10 hours per week
