Seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide on-site services one day per week within a Behavior Program serving K-12 students of diverse abilities. This position involves working directly with students to support communication development and related speech-language needs.
Location:
- Salem, OR (primary)
- Yamhill County, McMinnville site
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech-language therapy to students in the Behavior Program
- Assess and support communication skills across a broad range of student abilities and grade levels
- Collaborate with educational staff to develop and implement individualized plans
- Track student progress and provide necessary documentation in compliance with program requirements
- Adapt therapy strategies to meet the unique needs of each student
Qualifications:
- Valid SLP certification and licensure for school-based practice
- Experience working with K-12 students across varying abilities
- Ability to work effectively in a behavior-focused educational setting
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Flexibility to provide therapy one day per week on-site
