Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) Remote - Minnesota
A full-time contract opportunity is available for a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide therapeutic services to elementary students (grades K–5) in Osseo, MN during the 2026-2027 school year. This role involves working closely with special education staff, general education teachers, administrators, families, and related service providers to support students with diverse speech and language needs while ensuring compliance with applicable special education regulations.
The position offers a manageable caseload of approximately 40 to 45 students, presenting a range of communication challenges including articulation disorders, expressive and receptive language delays, pragmatic language deficits, fluency disorders, autism spectrum disorder, developmental delays, and other related disabilities. The specific school site and student needs will be finalized by the district.
Key responsibilities include:
- Conducting speech and language assessments to identify student needs
- Developing and implementing individualized treatment plans
- Providing direct therapy via in-person and teletherapy methods as appropriate
- Collaborating with educational teams to support student progress
- Maintaining accurate documentation and complying with special education requirements
- Communicating with families and caregivers regarding student goals and progress
Qualifications for this role require:
- Master’s or Doctoral degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Active Minnesota SLP license or eligibility to obtain licensure
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred
- Experience working in a school setting is advantageous
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills critical for success
