We are partnering with a supportive New Mexico school district to hire a Virtual Bilingual School Speech-Language Pathologist (English/Spanish) for the upcoming school year. Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive virtual speech and language evaluations.
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans aligned with IEP goals.
- Deliver engaging teletherapy sessions for English- and Spanish-speaking students.
- Collaborate remotely with teachers, special education staff, and families.
- Participate in virtual IEP meetings and provide professional recommendations.
- Maintain accurate documentation, progress reports, and compliance records.
- Utilize district-approved teletherapy platforms and digital resources.
Skills
- Native or professional fluency in English and Spanish.
- Comfortable using teletherapy platforms and educational technology.
- Ability to adapt therapy techniques to meet individual student needs.
Qualifications
- Active New Mexico Speech-Language Pathologist License or eligibility for licensure.
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred.
Experience
- Previous school-based or pediatric experience preferred.
- Teletherapy experience is a plus but not required.
- Experience serving multilingual or culturally diverse student populations is highly desirable.
Work Hours
- 37.5 hours per week
