This contract role, based in Rio Rancho, NM, focuses on delivering remote speech-language therapy tailored to a diverse student population across elementary, middle, and high school grade levels.
Key responsibilities include:
- Conducting comprehensive speech and language assessments via telespeech platforms
- Developing individualized therapy plans addressing articulation, language disorders, fluency, and other communication challenges
- Providing virtual therapy sessions for students in grades K-5, 6-8, and 9-12
- Collaborating with educational staff and families to support student communication goals
- Maintaining accurate and timely documentation of therapy progress and outcomes
- Utilizing technology effectively to engage students and facilitate speech-language development remotely
Desired qualifications and experience:
- Valid state license or certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- Demonstrated experience delivering speech and language services through telespeech or telepractice modalities
- Familiarity with communication disorders common in school-aged children
- Ability to adapt therapy techniques to a remote learning environment
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with students, families, and educators
