A Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) is needed for a maternity leave assignment at an elementary school level (K-3) in Osseo, MN. This position involves managing a caseload of approximately 35 students and providing targeted speech therapy services to support early childhood communication development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech and language assessments and develop individualized treatment plans
- Deliver teletherapy and in-person speech-language pathology services tailored to pediatric needs
- Collaborate with educators and healthcare providers to support student progress
- Maintain accurate documentation and caseload management
- Provide effective therapy interventions for students with communication disorders
Desired Qualifications:
- Certification and licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)
- Experience in pediatric speech therapy, particularly with school-aged children (K-3)
- Familiarity with teletherapy platforms and remote service delivery
- Previous experience in healthcare and school settings preferred
- Completion of Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates will be considered
- Strong communication and organizational skills
Location: Osseo, Minnesota
This temporary assignment covers the period from the end of April through the end of the school year, offering an excellent opportunity to contribute to a supportive learning environment while gaining valuable experience in both teletherapy and school-based speech-language pathology.
