A contract Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available in Oneonta, AL, supporting a learning center within a school setting. This role involves providing specialized speech therapy services to a high-need caseload of 49 students, primarily in elementary grades with some high school students included.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver tailored speech-language therapy interventions addressing a variety of communication disorders.
- Manage and prioritize a diverse caseload, collaborating with educators and support staff to monitor progress.
- Utilize expertise in telespeech and onsite therapy as required to meet student needs.
- Maintain thorough documentation and compliance with educational and clinical standards.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid Alabama Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license.
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Experience working in school settings, preferably with a learning center caseload.
- Familiarity with telespeech service delivery.
- Ability to work a part-time, four-day schedule, from 7:30 AM to 2:00 PM onsite with possible schedule flexibility.
