Virtual Speech Language Pathologist in AL
A Speech Language Pathologist opportunity is available for a 1099 contract role supporting schools through telespeech services. This position is 100% remote, allowing for flexible work from home arrangements while delivering essential speech therapy to students.
Qualified candidates will have a minimum of two years of school-based experience, demonstrating proficiency in working with pediatric populations in educational settings. While prior virtual telespeech experience is preferred, it is not required. Support is provided through access to both clinical and technical teams to ensure successful service delivery and problem resolution.
Responsibilities include conducting telespeech evaluations and therapy sessions to address students’ communication needs, collaborating with educators and families remotely, as well as documenting student progress and maintaining compliance with school and state guidelines. The role demands strong communication skills, adaptability to telehealth platforms, and a commitment to enhancing language development for school-age children.
Desired qualifications and experience:
- Valid Speech Language Pathology licensure
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in school-based speech therapy
