A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist opportunity is available for a contract-to-hire role in Navarre, FL, to support two maternity leave positions within a school setting. This position focuses on delivering specialized speech and language services through both teletherapy and in-person methods.
Responsibilities include:
- Providing comprehensive speech-language evaluations and therapy to students in accordance with Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Collaborating with educators and families to develop and implement effective communication plans
- Utilizing telespeech platforms to conduct remote therapy sessions when necessary
- Maintaining accurate documentation and progress reports to ensure compliance with school policies and state regulations
- Participating in meetings related to student progress and special education services
Qualifications:
- Valid state licensure or certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- Experience in school-based speech therapy services, including telespeech delivery
- Strong knowledge of speech and language disorders commonly seen in school-aged children
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and adapt therapy approaches to individual student needs
