A contract opportunity is available for a Speech-Language Pathologist specializing in telespeech services within a school setting. This role is based in Mobile, AL, and focuses on delivering remote speech therapy to students, supporting their communication development and academic success.
Key Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid licensure or certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- Proven experience providing speech therapy services via telepractice
- Familiarity with school-based speech and language evaluation and intervention
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills suited for working with students remotely
- Ability to develop individualized treatment plans tailored to student needs
- Comfortable utilizing technology and telehealth platforms to deliver therapy sessions
Location: Mobile, Alabama
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct remote speech and language assessments and screenings for students
- Implement individualized telespeech therapy sessions to enhance speech, language, and communication skills
- Monitor student progress and adjust therapy plans as needed to achieve educational goals
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals regarding student progress and therapy strategies
- Maintain accurate documentation and comply with school policies and state regulations related to telepractice services
