A contract position is available for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) providing telespeech services to support one student. This role requires certification with a Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) and experience with teletherapy platforms.
Location: Irvine, CA
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver individualized speech-language therapy remotely using telespeech methodologies.
- Develop and implement tailored treatment plans addressing the student's unique communication goals.
- Maintain thorough documentation of therapy sessions and student progress.
- Collaborate remotely with educators and caregivers to support consistent communication development.
- Adhere to all professional standards and ethical guidelines in speech-language pathology.
Qualifications:
- Valid Speech-Language Pathologist license.
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA).
- Proven experience in delivering telespeech therapy.
- Familiarity with VOCO or similar communication devices is highly desirable.
- Strong communication skills and ability to engage students in a virtual setting.
