Position Overview
The Virtual SLP will provide speech-language therapy, evaluations, and IEP support services to K–12 students through secure online platforms while collaborating with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams across Wisconsin schools.
Responsibilities
Provide engaging virtual speech-language therapy services
Conduct evaluations, assessments, and progress monitoring
Develop and implement IEP goals and therapy plans
Maintain accurate and compliant documentation
Participate in virtual IEP meetings and team collaboration
Communicate professionally with staff, parents, and students
Ensure compliance with Wisconsin DPI, IDEA, and district guidelines
Utilize teletherapy platforms and digital therapy tools effectively
Requirements To meet Wisconsin school district requirements, applicants must:
Hold an active Wisconsin DPI license in Speech-Language Pathology or be eligible for Wisconsin DPI licensure
Hold a Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
Maintain active ASHA CCC-SLP certification (preferred; CF candidates may be considered depending on district needs)
Pass all required background checks and fingerprint clearance
Be eligible to work in the United States
Have reliable high-speed internet and a professional remote workspace
Demonstrate strong communication, organization, and virtual engagement skills
Be comfortable using virtual therapy and documentation platforms
Preferred Qualifications
Previous school-based experience
Teletherapy experience with K–12 students
Familiarity with IEP systems and virtual documentation platforms
Ability to independently manage caseloads and schedules
Experience collaborating within multidisciplinary school teams
