Teletherapy Speech Language Pathologist in LA
A full-time opportunity is available for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) specializing in telespeech and teletherapy services within a school setting. The position supports students in the New Orleans area and is scheduled to run from early August 2026 through late May 2027. Working hours consist of 35 hours per week, Monday through Friday, with a daily schedule of 7 hours plus a 30-minute unpaid lunch break.
Key responsibilities include providing speech-language pathology services through teletherapy platforms to meet individual student needs. Caseload details and student age groups will be determined prior to placement to ensure appropriate match and service delivery.
Qualifications and experience requirements:
- Master’s degree in Speech Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- Active state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- ASHA certification (Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology, CCC-SLP)
- Experience or proficiency in teletherapy and telespeech modalities is essential
- Ability to complete time-sensitive credentialing documentation as required by the school district Human Resources department
Location: Harvey, LA (Greater New Orleans area)
The assignment is a contract position contingent upon the school board’s contract renewal, scheduled for discussion in a June 2026 board meeting. This contingency will be explicitly noted in the candidate’s contract agreement.
