Job Title: Teacher of the Visually Impaired (TVI)
Location: Missouri | Remote
Employment Type: 1099 Contract | Full-Time & Part-Time Opportunities Available
Starting Pay: $35+/hour
Caseload Details: Discussed during the interview process
Responsibilities
Provide direct and consultative vision services to students with visual impairments
Develop and implement IEP goals and accommodations
Conduct assessments and progress monitoring
Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams
Support student access to curriculum and instructional materials
Maintain accurate documentation and compliance records
Qualifications
Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Education or related field
Certification as a Teacher of the Visually Impaired (TVI)
Active Missouri licensure/certification or ability to obtain
Previous school-based experience preferred
Strong communication and collaboration skills
Comfortable utilizing virtual learning platforms and technology
