School Year: 2026–2027
We are seeking a qualified Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for a full-time, virtual school-based opportunity serving students in Mississippi for the 2026–2027 school year.
The selected SLP will provide teletherapy services to students while collaborating remotely with teachers, special education staff, families, and other members of the educational team.
Responsibilities:
Provide virtual speech and language therapy services to students
Manage an assigned school-based caseload
Develop and implement individualized therapy plans and IEP goals
Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with educational teams
Complete required documentation, progress reports, and student data
Conduct appropriate assessments/evaluations as required by the assignment
Communicate effectively with school staff and families
Maintain consistent and professional virtual service delivery
Requirements:
Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders
Active Mississippi SLP license or eligibility to obtain appropriate Mississippi licensure
ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP), if required by the district
Previous school-based experience preferred
Previous teletherapy experience preferred
Strong communication, organization, and technology skills
Must meet all district and state requirements for providing virtual school-based SLP services
