A contract opportunity is available for a Speech Language Pathologist specializing in telespeech services within a school setting. This position is fully remote, allowing professionals to work from home while supporting student speech and language development through virtual platforms.
Located in Houston, TX, this role requires a minimum of 2 years of school-based experience, ensuring familiarity with educational environments and student needs. While prior virtual experience is preferred, it is not mandatory, as training and support are provided. Access to dedicated Clinical and Technical teams offers assistance to optimize service delivery and address any challenges encountered during telespeech sessions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech and language evaluations and therapy sessions virtually for students.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans aligned with student IEP goals.
- Collaborate with educators, families, and support staff to monitor student progress.
- Document therapy results and maintain accurate records in compliance with school regulations.
- Utilize telepractice technologies effectively to engage students and deliver quality care.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid certification as a Speech Language Pathologist.
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience working in school-based settings.
- Comfortable using virtual platforms and technology for service delivery (preferred).
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills tailored to working with children and educational teams.
- Ability to manage time efficiently in a remote work environment.
