Telehealth Speech Therapy - AZ
A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity is available to provide telespeech services to students ranging from pre-kindergarten through eighth grade. This role supports multiple students across two school sites located within close proximity to each other in Tucson, AZ. The position is contract-based and requires delivering effective, individualized speech and language therapy utilizing telepractice methods.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations and assessments using telespeech tools.
- Develop and implement tailored therapy plans to address diverse communication needs of students.
- Work collaboratively with educators and support staff to integrate therapy goals within the educational setting.
- Monitor student progress, maintain detailed documentation, and provide feedback to families and team members.
- Manage caseload across multiple school sites, adapting to various student needs and schedules.
Desired Qualifications:
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC) is required.
- Experience in telespeech or telepractice service delivery in school environments.
- Strong knowledge of speech and language development, disorders, and intervention strategies for PK-8 students.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills to effectively coordinate care across two locations.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities efficiently.
