Virtual Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) - KS
Fort Leavenworth, KS
A contract opportunity is available for four Speech-Language Pathologists skilled in telespeech services and holding Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) credentials. The role is based in Fort Leavenworth, KS, within an educational setting.
Key responsibilities include:
- Providing speech-language therapy services via telespeech platforms to students across various grade levels
- Assessing, diagnosing, and treating speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders
- Collaborating with educators, parents, and other professionals to develop individualized treatment plans
- Maintaining thorough and accurate documentation of therapy sessions, progress notes, and reports in compliance with regulatory standards
- Participating in meetings and consultations to support student needs and promote effective communication strategies
Preferred qualifications and experience:
- Valid certificate of clinical competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology
- Proven experience delivering telespeech in school environments
- Strong knowledge of speech and language development and disorders in a pediatric population
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work effectively with diverse student populations and multidisciplinary teams
- Familiarity with educational regulations and documentation requirements for speech therapy services
