A full-time virtual Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available to provide comprehensive teletherapy services within a school setting. This role requires dedication to delivering quality speech therapy interventions, managing IEP processes, and maintaining clear communication with all educational stakeholders.
Location: Columbus, GA (virtual service delivery)
Contract Length: ASAP through May 21, 2026
Hours: 7.5 hours per day, 37.5 hours per week (aligned strictly with school hours)
Key Responsibilities:
- Schedule and actively participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings.
- Prepare and manage all necessary documentation associated with IEPs, including Review and Revision Documents (RDRs) and reports before and after meetings.
- Conduct direct virtual speech therapy sessions with students in alignment with their treatment plans.
- Potential supervision of Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPAs), supporting their clinical development and ensuring quality service delivery.
- Submit daily service logs consistently in compliance with district requirements to facilitate timely approval of timesheets.
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Hold an active Speech-Language Pathologist license and valid Georgia Educator license.
- Proven supervision experience of SLPAs preferred.
- Demonstrated organizational skills and reliability, with the ability to manage time effectively to maximize therapy service hours and administrative duties.
- Strong communication skills to coordinate effectively with students, families, educators, and other collaborators.
