Pediatric Teletherapy Speech Therapy in School Setting - California
A contract opportunity is available for a Speech-Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) or Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide therapy services in a middle school setting located in Foresthill, CA. This position supports middle school students with speech and language needs through both direct therapy and related SLPA duties.
Responsibilities include:
- Delivering speech and language therapy services to students aged 11-14
- Providing teletherapy sessions as needed, supporting both onsite and remote instruction
- Collaborating with school staff and district-provided supervisors such as paraprofessionals or related healthcare providers
- Maintaining accurate documentation and caseload records, serving a maximum of two schools
- Ensuring compliance with district policies including fingerprint clearance prior to starting
Desired qualifications:
- Valid SLPA license for assistant positions or Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) for SLPs
- Experience working with pediatric populations in school or healthcare environments
- Familiarity with teletherapy platforms and remote service delivery
- Ability to manage caseloads effectively within school hours (8:00 AM to 3:00 PM daily)
- Previous CFY experience or related pediatric clinical work preferred
This role requires onsite presence for SLPA duties; therapists may utilize a combination of onsite and teletherapy service models. The contract runs from the start date as soon as possible through the end of the school year. Fingerprint clearance is mandatory prior to employment. Panel interviews will be conducted via Zoom immediately with decisions made quickly.
