A virtual Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) with an active Florida Department of Health license is needed to provide teletherapy services to high school students. This contract position focuses on delivering virtual speech therapy sessions and making up minutes for students aged 14-18, supporting their communication development.
Responsibilities include:
- Delivering teletherapy speech-language services to high school students.
- Maintaining accurate records and progress notes.
- Participating in virtual meetings and consultations as required.
- Collaborating with educational staff to support student needs.
- Ensuring compliance with Florida licensure and school district policies, including completing required fingerprint clearance through the AHCA Clearinghouse and obtaining a JLA badge.
Preferred qualifications and experience:
- Active FL DOH Speech Language Pathologist licensure.
- Experience with virtual speech therapy or telepractice environments.
- Familiarity with credentialing through VocoVision is advantageous.
- Knowledge of working with high school aged students.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
Location: Virtual services supporting a high school in the Naples, FL area, with candidate location flexibility considered.
Work schedule: Part-time to full-time with 26-32.5 hours per week, spread over 4-5 days (approximately 6.5 hours per day). Contract duration available from ASAP through May 29, 2026.
Professional credentials and compliance guidelines must be met including fingerprinting requirements for Florida school settings.
