Position Overview
- Full-time virtual position
- 37.5 hours per week
- Contract through May 21, 2027
- Typically assigned to one school site, with the possibility of supporting two campuses
- High caseload environment
- Fast-paced and collaborative district
Job Responsibilities
- Provide virtual speech-language therapy services to students with communication disorders.
- Conduct speech and language evaluations and assessments.
- Develop and implement IEP goals and therapy plans.
- Monitor student progress and maintain accurate documentation.
- Participate in IEP meetings, eligibility meetings, and multidisciplinary team discussions.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to support student achievement.
- Deliver engaging teletherapy sessions utilizing evidence-based practices.
Qualifications
- Active Texas Speech-Language Pathologist license required.
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred.
- Previous school-based experience preferred.
- Strong communication, organization, and technology skills.
- Ability to effectively manage a high caseload in a virtual setting.
