Virtual Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) – Texas - Opening
VocoVision is seeking licensed Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) for virtual opportunities with school districts across Texas. Both full-time and part-time openings are available for clinicians interested in providing school-based speech and language services remotely through VocoVision’s teletherapy platform.
Responsibilities:
- Provide virtual speech and language therapy services to K–12 students
- Conduct evaluations, assessments, and eligibility-related activities
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized IEP goals
- Complete progress reports, documentation, and required case management
- Participate in ARD/IEP meetings and collaborate with teachers, families, and special education teams
- Provide direct and indirect services according to student and district needs
- Maintain compliance with district, state, and federal special education requirements
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree or higher in Speech-Language Pathology, Communication Sciences and Disorders, or an equivalent qualifying field
- Active Texas Speech-Language Pathologist license through TDLR required, or ability to obtain appropriate Texas licensure before beginning services
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) strongly preferred
- Previous school-based SLP experience preferred
- Familiarity with ARD/IEP processes, evaluations, eligibility determinations, and special education documentation
- Experience with teletherapy or virtual service delivery preferred
- Strong written, verbal, organizational, and technology skills
- Reliable computer, webcam, and high-speed internet connection
