Available is a full-time contract position as a Speech-Language Pathologist providing telespeech and teletherapy services within a school setting. Services will be delivered to students across the district from Columbus, GA, with a contract duration from ASAP through May 21, 2027, including potential pre- and post-planning days. This role demands a minimum commitment of 37.5 hours per week.
Responsibilities include:
- Delivering evidence-based direct therapy services remotely to support student speech and language development.
- Documenting therapy sessions with daily progress logs to maintain detailed service records.
- Collaborating with district personnel during the interview process to identify appropriate student age groups and caseload placements based on preferences and expertise.
- Maintaining compliance with district policies and licensure regulations throughout the contract period.
Qualified candidates will demonstrate:
- Active Speech-Language Pathology license and Georgia Educator Certificate for SLPs.
- Proven virtual school-based SLP experience, with a strong understanding of telespeech and teletherapy methodologies.
- Willingness and ability to complete required documentation and service logs daily.
- Candidates without a current Georgia PSC certification may be interviewed; however, employment will be contingent upon obtaining the certification before the start date.
