A Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with expertise in telespeech and teletherapy is needed to support K-12 students in a school setting. This contract position provides an opportunity to deliver remote speech and language services aligned with educational goals throughout the school year.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech and language evaluations and screenings remotely using teletherapy platforms
- Develop individualized treatment plans tailored to students' communication needs
- Deliver evidence-based speech and language therapy sessions via telepractice
- Collaborate with educators and families to support student progress and carry-over of skills
- Maintain accurate documentation reflecting therapy goals, services provided, and student outcomes
- Comply with all relevant licensing, ethical, and educational regulations regarding teletherapy
Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid state licensure or certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- Proven experience providing teletherapy services in a school or educational environment
- Familiarity with K-12 speech and language assessments and interventions
- Strong communication and organizational skills for remote service delivery
- Ability to adapt therapy techniques for virtual platforms effectively
