Telehealth Speech Language Pathologist - New York

A provider of educational services is seeking a qualified Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with telespeech expertise to support students in a school setting located in Brooklyn, NY. This contract position focuses on delivering remote speech therapy services to assist students with communication development and related challenges.
Key responsibilities include:
- Conducting speech and language evaluations through virtual platforms to assess student needs
- Developing and implementing individualized treatment plans tailored to student goals
- Providing telespeech therapy sessions using evidence-based approaches and ensuring student engagement
- Collaborating with educators and families through digital communication to support student progress
- Maintaining accurate records and progress reports in compliance with professional standards
- Participating in virtual meetings and continuing education opportunities as needed
Desired qualifications and experience:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Valid and current state licensure or certification for SLP services
- Demonstrated experience in telespeech or telepractice settings, particularly within schools
- Strong knowledge of speech and language disorders affecting the K-12 population
- Proficient with technology platforms for virtual therapy and documentation
- Excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to manage caseloads effectively
