Teletherapy Speech Language Pathologist in SD
This contract position in Brandon, SD requires a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with expertise in both telespeech services and traditional school-based therapy. The role focuses on supporting students through remote and in-person speech-language interventions to address communication disorders.
Responsibilities include:
- Conducting comprehensive speech and language assessments remotely and on-site
- Developing individualized treatment plans tailored to each student’s needs
- Delivering telespeech therapy sessions as well as direct school-based services
- Collaborating with educators and families to support student progress
- Maintaining accurate, timely documentation of therapy sessions and student outcomes
- Ensuring compliance with relevant state and federal regulations governing school speech services
Qualifications:
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA)
- Valid state licensure to practice speech-language pathology in South Dakota
- Experience providing both telespeech and in-person speech therapy in educational settings
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with students, families, and school staff
- Ability to manage caseloads and deliver services within a contract framework
