A full-time contract opportunity is available for a Speech-Language Pathologist specializing in teletherapy services within a K-12 educational setting. This role involves providing virtual speech-language support, focusing on telespeech and teletherapy techniques, to enhance student communication skills.
Location: Bellevue, MI
Schedule: Up to 40 hours per week
Contract Duration: Immediate start through June 10, 2027
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech-language pathology services using teletherapy platforms to students from kindergarten through 12th grade.
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans in adherence with educational standards and student needs.
- Maintain accurate documentation and comply with all school and state regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with educators, families, and other professionals to support student progress.
Qualifications:
- Active American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) certification.
- Valid Michigan Speech-Language Pathology license. (Verification required)
- Experience with teletherapy or telespeech service delivery in school settings preferred.
- Strong communication skills and ability to engage students virtually.
Verification of the Michigan license can be completed online through the state’s licensing portal. Applicants must submit proof of current licensure upon application.
