Position Overview
As a Virtual SLP, you will provide speech and language services to students across a Georgia school district using a comprehensive online platform equipped with assessment tools, therapy materials, and interactive resources. You will play a critical role in helping students achieve their communication goals while collaborating with educators, families, and support staff in a virtual environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide individualized and group speech-language therapy services to K-12 students through a secure virtual platform
- Conduct evaluations and implement evidence-based interventions tailored to student needs
- Develop, monitor, and adjust treatment plans based on student progress
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports in accordance with district and state requirements
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support student success
- Participate in virtual meetings and consultations as needed
- Utilize digital assessments and engaging therapy resources to maximize student participation and outcomes
Qualifications
- Active Speech-Language Pathologist license and certification
- Eligibility to provide services within the state of Georgia
- Previous school-based experience preferred
- Experience providing teletherapy or telespeech services is highly valued
- Strong communication, organization, and time-management skills
- Comfortable utilizing virtual platforms and technology to deliver services effectively
- Ability to work independently while maintaining strong collaboration with remote teams
- Full time availability preferred
