Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) Remote - Virginia

A contract position is available for a Speech-Language Pathologist skilled in telespeech services within a school setting. This role supports students via a virtual platform designed to enhance remote learning and therapy effectiveness.
Key responsibilities include conducting speech-language assessments, implementing individualized intervention plans, and delivering therapy sessions through secure video conferencing tools. The virtual platform provides access to interactive learning materials and assessments, a Zoom Pro account for sessions, and continuous support from clinical and technical teams to facilitate successful service delivery.
Qualifications and desired experience:
- Valid Speech-Language Pathologist licensure and certifications appropriate for school-based therapy
- Proven experience in telespeech or teletherapy services
- Familiarity with virtual platforms for speech therapy, including managing assessments and using interactive tools
- Strong communication and organizational skills to effectively engage students remotely
- Ability to collaborate with clinical and technical support to troubleshoot and optimize service delivery
Responsibilities:
- Provide speech-language evaluations and interventions to students through the virtual platform
- Utilize interactive learning materials to augment therapy sessions
- Document progress and communicate updates following school and state guidelines
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development related to telepractice
