Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
  • Valid state licensure (or eligibility) as a Speech-Language Pathologist in Illinois.
  • ASHA Certification (CCC-SLP) preferred but strong CFs may be considered.
  • Previous school-based experience working with pediatric populations is a plus.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide assessment, diagnosis, and treatment for students with speech, language, voice, or fluency disorders.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and support staff to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs).
  • Maintain thorough documentation and progress reports in compliance with school regulations.
  • Participate in school meetings and professional development opportunities.
  • Serve as a resource for staff regarding communication disorders and intervention strategies.
