Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
- Valid state licensure (or eligibility) as a Speech-Language Pathologist in Illinois.
- ASHA Certification (CCC-SLP) preferred but strong CFs may be considered.
- Previous school-based experience working with pediatric populations is a plus.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
Responsibilities:
- Provide assessment, diagnosis, and treatment for students with speech, language, voice, or fluency disorders.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and support staff to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs).
- Maintain thorough documentation and progress reports in compliance with school regulations.
- Participate in school meetings and professional development opportunities.
- Serve as a resource for staff regarding communication disorders and intervention strategies.
