An opportunity is available for a Speech-Language Pathologist to provide essential services for students from PreK through 4th grade in a school setting located in Renton, WA. This role is a contract position, beginning as soon as possible through the end of the school year, and can be full-time or part-time based on your availability. The position is onsite, offering direct interaction with students and collaboration with educational staff.
Key Qualifications:
- Valid Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) credentials are required.
- Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology is preferred.
- Experience working with early childhood through elementary-age students.
- Strong assessment, diagnostic, and intervention skills tailored to a school environment.
- Ability to work collaboratively with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student communication goals.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech and language assessments for students in PreK-4th grade.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
- Monitor student progress and modify plans as needed.
- Provide direct therapy services onsite.
- Maintain accurate documentation and comply with school policies.
- Participate in team meetings and parent conferences when necessary.
