School Speech and Language Pathologist | Tacoma, Washington
A school-based Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available for the academic year in Tacoma, WA, serving K-12 students. This full-time contract role offers an opportunity to work onsite with a diverse caseload of approximately 45-50 students, providing crucial speech and language support.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology
- Experience working with K-12 student populations
- Washington State SLP license or willingness to obtain it
- OSPI fingerprint clearance or commitment to complete fingerprinting
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Location:
- Tacoma, Washington
- Onsite position only; virtual candidates will not be considered
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments for K-12 students
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
- Collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports
- Participate in team meetings and professional development
