Travel Opportunity
A Syracuse-area school district is hiring multiple Speech-Language Pathologists for the 2026–2027 school year. This is a strong option for travel candidates interested in relocating temporarily to New York while maintaining a permanent residence elsewhere.
Estimated take-home range for qualifying travel candidates: $65–$75/hour after taxes.
Travel packages may include stipends for housing, meals, and incidentals for candidates who meet applicable tax-home and duplicated-living-expense requirements.
Position Details

• K–12 school-based caseloads
• Full-time and part-time schedules considered
• District is actively interviewing
• Specific school placement and caseload details discussed during the interview
Qualifications
• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders
• Active New York SLP license or eligibility to obtain one
• ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence preferred
• Previous school-based experience preferred
• Travel candidates must provide documentation needed to determine stipend eligibility
Responsibilities
• Provide direct and consultative speech-language services
• Complete evaluations and assessments
• Develop and monitor IEP goals
• Maintain progress notes and required documentation
• Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams
• Participate in IEP and eligibility meetings
