Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) | Multiple Openings - Syracuse & Cortland County, NY
We are seeking multiple Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) to support K-12 students across Central New York. These are school-based positions offering a consistent daytime schedule and the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on students with a variety of communication needs.
Openings Available:
- 2 Full-Time SLPs - Syracuse, NY
- 1 Part-Time SLP - Cortland County, NY
Position Details:
- Start Date: ASAP
- End Date: End of School Year
- Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 2:45 PM
- Setting: School-Based (K-12)
- Student Population: Mixed disabilities
- Location Options: Syracuse & Cortland, NY
Responsibilities:
- Provide speech and language therapy services to K-12 students
- Conduct evaluations and develop treatment plans
- Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
- Maintain accurate documentation and compliance with state and district requirements
- Support students utilizing AAC (Augmentative and Alternative Communication) devices and strategies
Qualifications
Required:
- Active New York State Speech-Language Pathologist License
- New York State Department of Education (NYSED) SLP Teacher/School Certification Endorsement
Preferred:
- Previous school-based experience
- Experience with AAC devices and communication systems
- Knowledge of IEP development and implementation
