Desired Background and Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Current state licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) strongly preferred; clinical fellows (CFY) considered
- Experience with school-aged children or prior school-based placement an advantage
- Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication abilities
- Ability to collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations
- Develop personalized treatment plans based on student needs and IEP requirements
- Deliver direct therapy services to address articulation, language, fluency, and pragmatic difficulties
- Monitor and document student progress; adjust interventions as necessary
- Collaborate with teachers, counselors, and families to support student achievement and generalization of skills
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to report writing and progress updates
- Provide recommendations for classroom strategies and home carryover activities
