Pediatric School-Based SLP | Sylva, North Carolina

Desired Qualifications:
- Current Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) or Clinical Fellowship Year applicants (CFY) welcome
- Experience supporting pediatric populations in educational or healthcare settings
- Previous teletherapy experience preferred, but not required
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Commitment to evidence-based, student-centered intervention
- Ability to collaborate with school staff, families, and multidisciplinary teams
- Active state licensure or eligibility for North Carolina licensure
Core Responsibilities:
- Provide screening, assessment, and direct speech-language therapy services to students with diverse needs
- Document evaluations, progress, and interventions in accordance with school district and legal requirements
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Program (IEP) goals tailored to each student
- Participate in team meetings and serve as a resource to educators and families
- Consult regularly with classroom teachers and support staff to support student success
- Utilize teletherapy platforms, as needed, to ensure continuity of services
