School Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) | Sunnyvale, California
Step into a dynamic role providing speech-language pathology services to elementary-aged students across 2–3 sites near Sunnyvale, CA! As a valued member of a supportive special education team, you’ll foster student growth, communication, and lasting confidence in a contract position beginning August 10, 2026, and concluding June 4, 2027, with an option to extend into ESY.
Enjoy a consistent weekday schedule: 7.5 hours per day (with a 30-minute unpaid lunch), totaling 37.5 hours each week. Your expertise will make a meaningful difference for a caseload of approximately 46 students, supported by access to the Siras/AbleSpace IEP management system. Travel between sites is part of the adventure, and mileage between locations is reimbursed.
What We’re Looking For:
- Valid state licensure in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC or CFY accepted)
- School-based SLP experience strongly preferred
- Familiarity with IEP process and IEP management platforms like Siras/AbleSpace
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and documentation skills
- Ability to travel between school sites as needed (mileage paid)
- Dedication to supporting elementary-age learners with diverse speech and language needs
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct screenings, assessments, and implement evidence-based therapy for assigned students
- Develop, update, and execute effective IEPs within Siras/AbleSpace
- Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and families
- Maintain accurate, timely records and progress reports as required
- Engage in ongoing communication with stakeholders to ensure student success across settings
