Pediatric School Speech Language Pathologist - Sunnyvale, California
A full-time Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available at an elementary school in Sunnyvale, CA, offering a contract opportunity for the current school year (CSY). This onsite role focuses on providing direct therapy, conducting testing and assessments, participating in IEP meetings, and writing individualized education programs (IEPs) to support student success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct speech-language therapy to students
- Perform comprehensive testing and assessments to evaluate communication needs
- Collaborate with educators and parents during IEP meetings
- Develop and document detailed IEPs tailored to each student’s goals
Qualifications:
- Valid California Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) license
- Experience working in school settings preferred, including comfort with pediatrics and teletherapy
- Familiarity with professional standards, including CCC credentials or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) completion, is an asset
- Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary educational team
