A Speech Language Pathologist position is available to provide coverage for a MAT leave at an elementary school in Sunnyvale, CA. This full-time contract role will begin in late January and extend through the end of the school year, offering an opportunity to work a 3-4 day per week schedule focused on an elementary school caseload.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech and language therapy services to students in an elementary school setting.
- Assess, develop, and implement individualized treatment plans to meet the needs of children with speech and language challenges.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student progress.
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports in accordance with school policies.
- Participate in meetings and provide input on student educational plans.
Desired Qualifications:
- Certification in speech-language pathology (SLP) with credentials such as SLP-School, SLP-CFY, or SLP-CCC.
- Experience working within schools, preferably with elementary-aged children.
- Ability to manage an elementary school caseload effectively.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills for collaboration with students, families, and staff.
- Flexibility to work part-time full-time schedule (3-4 days per week).
