A contract opportunity is available for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) or Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to provide specialized support within a school setting in Fremont, CA.
Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders in students.
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to develop individualized education plans (IEPs).
- Monitor student progress and adjust intervention plans as needed.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of services provided.
- Participate in meetings and provide consultation related to speech and language needs.
Qualifications:
- Valid CCC (Certificate of Clinical Competence) in Speech-Language Pathology preferred.
- Experience working in a school environment.
- For SLPA candidates, appropriate school certification or licensure is required.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team.
