This in-person, contract position spans the full academic year from August 11, 2026, through June 6, 2027, offering a consistent and rewarding experience within a supportive school community. Multiple on-site caseloads are available, allowing for focused interaction and growth. Options include working at a single location with either intensive and mild/moderate needs in specialized day classes (secondary/post-secondary or TK-5) or across two sites for varied age groups and challenges.
Key Qualifications:
- Current, active Speech-Language Pathology license/certification in California
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (SLP-CCC) required
- Prior experience collaborating in school-based settings preferred
- Strong ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Excellent communication, documentation, and organizational skills
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech and language therapy to students as stipulated by IEPs
- Complete assessments, evaluations, and eligibility reports
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
- Attend and participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with staff and families
- Maintain accurate records, progress notes, and required compliance documentation
- Foster a positive, inclusive, and supportive learning environment
