Qualifications and Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution
- Current ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) required
- Active state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist (or eligibility)
- Experience working with school-aged children preferred
- Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders for a diverse student population
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) in collaboration with educators and families
- Maintain thorough documentation of evaluations, progress, and outcomes in compliance with school and regulatory standards
- Participate in IEP meetings, parent conferences, and staff consultations as needed
- Provide therapy in both individual and group settings, adapting to students’ unique needs
- Engage in ongoing communication with teachers, families, and related service teams to support student success
