Key qualifications and preferred experience:
- Valid SLP-CCC, SLP-CFY, or SLPA credential (with willingness of SLP to supervise SLPA)
- Background in pediatric speech therapy, preferably with school-based or healthcare experience
- Familiarity with caseloads encompassing preschoolers, school-aged, and adolescent clients
- Flexibility and responsiveness to needs across sites in Loganville, Lawrenceville, and Peachtree Corners
- Bilingual skills or American Sign Language proficiency highly valued (to support nonverbal and linguistically diverse clients)
- Commitment to evidence-based practices and individualized care planning
Your responsibilities will include:
- Conducting evaluations and individualized therapy for children and youth with speech, language, and communication needs
- Collaborating with interdisciplinary teams, caregivers, and educators for comprehensive care
- Completing documentation, progress reports, and participating in IEP/IFSP process as appropriate
- Providing guidance and support to SLPAs, if supervising
- Adapting intervention methodologies to support diverse, multilingual, and nonverbal populations
