This opportunity is for a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) working full-time (0.8 FTE) across multiple K-12 elementary schools for the full academic year. The contract position is located in Stockton, CA, serving a diverse student population within the school district.
Key Qualifications and Experience:
- Certification of Clinical Competence (SLP - CCC) preferred
- Completion of Clinical Fellowship Year (SLP - CFY) acceptable
- Experience working as a certified school-based Speech Language Pathologist (SLP - School)
- Ability to manage a full caseload across multiple schools efficiently
- Strong collaboration skills with educators, administrators, and families
- Skilled in developing and implementing individualized speech and language therapy plans in educational settings
Responsibilities:
- Provide speech and language evaluations and direct therapy to K-12 students
- Monitor student progress and adjust treatment plans accordingly
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with school policies
- Collaborate with educational staff to support students’ communication needs
- Adhere to all state and federal educational regulations regarding special education services
- Facilitate smooth transitions and communication between multiple school sites
